Fallout 4 trailer review
Fallout 4 - Bethesda Studios, we salute you!
Finally! After years of waiting Fallout 4 was confirmed to be in existence by Bethesda today and will launch on the PS4, Xbox One and PC. As of yet no release date has been announced which still leaves Fallout 4 shrouded in a thin layer mystery. Let's hope Fallout 4 will be on the shelves this year. The Fallout 4 cinematic trailer is now live for the world to see but when will we get to see some gameplay from the Wasteland? Bethesda confirmed that fans will be showed the world premiere of Fallout 4 gameplay at E3 this year. Excited yet?
...the next generation of open-world gaming from the award-winning creators of Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda Game Studios. Tune into Bethesda’s E3 Showcase on Sunday, June 14th at 7:00pm PT to see the world premiere of the game.
I've watched the Fallout 4 trailer over and over again since it's release. First off, I couldn't help but feel a range of emotions. As a huge animal lover I prayed that the dog would not meet his/her demise. Bethesda cleverly used the dog to guide us through the trailer which transitioned backwards in time to the pre-nuclear strike; a time in which colours were rich, furniture looked polished and people were happy. As the trailer reverted to the dog, I felt a sadness click back in. This is a real nice touch by Bethesda.

Vault 111 is shown in the trailer. Actually, the door to Vault 111 is shown opening. A person (I'm assuming this is the main protagonist) surfaces from vault 111 and behold, the beauty of the Wasteland is revealed. The draw distances seem to stretch to infinity and the colours are a perfect blend of lilac, orange, baby and greys. It truly looked stunning

Fallout 4 - a first glimpse out of Vault 111
The Fallout 4 trailer is three minutes and four second long which is longer than I expected to be treated with. The length of the trailer is another plus point in my books as it enables us to see so many points of interest. There had been rumours of Fallout 4 being set in Boston, Massachusetts. Game Informer noted that USS Constitution and State House is shown in the trailer which is located in Boston which render the rumours as correct. Boston it is then! Check out more screens of Fallout 4 in the slideshow below.
Three key moments really caught my eye in the Fallout 4 trailer. Firstly, seeing our canine friend was a pleasant surprise and one can only assume that the dog will be our closest ally in Fallout 4. Secondly, the feral ghouls looked great. They moved incredibly fast and agile compared to Ghouls in Fallout 3. The ghoul clip was small but pleasing. Thirdly, the final scenes in which we see the Power Armour from the Brotherhood of Steel were the most overwhelming! It looked grand, although partially complete. The left arm and leg seemed to be missing armour but nonetheless adding to the destroyed look of the wasteland. The Bobble Head in the background along with peg board of weapons and a mini gun on the floor...oh what a treat. Fallout 4 seems worth the wait and this is only the beginning. Watch the official Fallout 4 cinematic trailer below.

Let me know what you think about the Fallout 4 trailer. A lot of people have never played the Fallout series. Are you one of those people? Will you be buying this?
