Tanuki Justice is coming to the Game Boy Color Soon

PixelHeart is delighted to announce the arrival of Tanuki Justice on Game Boy Color!
Relive the adventure of one of our HITS released on next-gen consoles, now compatible on Game Boy Color.

Get ready to dive back into the action-packed world of Tanuki Justice! This fast-paced racing and shooting game is a PixelHeart classic for Next Gen consoles. Our talented programmer Maxime Schutz (who also worked on Lost Terminal) has completely reworked the project to bring you a Game Boy Color-compatible version! Bringing the excitement of feudal Japan right into your hands.

The game is available for pre-order on the PixelHeart website.The game is scheduled for release on November 29, 2024.

The game is available in a limited edition of 500 numbered copies. The game box contains the game cartridge, its protective plastic box, a cardboard wedge, a manual, a certificate and two stickers. (An unnumbered standard edition, without certificate and goodies, will be available on release in selected partner stores.)

Tanuki Justice is an ultra-nervous run'n'gun in which you play as a tanuki brother and sister. You face hundreds of enemies in feudal Japan. Varied environments with all kinds of landscapes, dynamic retro music, sustained action, numerous original situations and a difficulty level reminiscent of good old arcade games. Simple yet rich gameplay for spectacular action.

Story:
Tanuki Justice is an intense action game in which you play as a ninja Tanuki on a quest for revenge. Fighting wave after wave of enemies in beautifully designed retro environments. Thanks to simple yet dynamic controls, you’ll be able to pull off some incredible moves in this homage to classic arcade games.
